Dr. Renu Misra has over 30 years of experience in major teaching hospitals in India and the United Kingdom (UK) including premier institutions such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Whipps Cross Hospital (UK). She is one of the first Indian doctors trained in endoscopic surgery in the UK. Dr. Misra has performed major gynecologic surgeries including advanced laparoscopic procedures, hysteroscopic procedures, and cancer surgery. She trained in infertility and IVF in Ireland and USA. Following her training, Dr. Misra founded the IVF department at Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science & Research (SBISR), New Delhi, achieving excellent pregnancy rates. Dr. Misra has also served as Clinical Director at SBISR.
In addition to her experience as a clinical doctor, Dr. Misra has been published 57 times in top international and national journals including British Medical Journal (BMJ), British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (BJOG), and Surgical Endoscopy. She is the author of 6 books including a textbook called 'Ian Donald?s Practical Obstetric Problems' used by doctors around the world.
Dr. Misra has also taught medical students and post-graduate doctors for over 20 years at AIIMS and UCMS. Dr. Misra believes that doctors can provide the best medical care only through continuous training and learning about the latest techniques, drugs, and instrumentation technology available.
